Main Street Resurfaced

red-road.jpgThe narrow stretch of Cockerham Main street between the Village Hall and the junction with the A588 has been resurfaced and has had red ‘rumble strips’ maked on it. County Cllr Chris Coates said ” This is a potentially dangergous bit of road because it is so narrow. Lorrys come off the A588 far too fast just here putting pedstrians at a real risk.”

Cllr Coates has put forward Cockerham village for a review of the speed limits through the village as part of the national review of speed limits on A&B roads.
