Greens Become Largest Party in City

Lancaster & District Green Party became the biggest Party in the City area of Lancaster District after holding 7 and winning a further 5 seats on the council.

Lancaster & District Green Party are celebrating growing to be the largest party in the City area of Lancaster with 12 seats on the council after the local elections on May 3rd. They gained 5 seats, including that of Ian barker, the Labour leader of the council , in Bulk Ward. They also gained a seat in John O’Gaunt from Labour and took the two seats at the University from the Libdems.
