The main focus of our plan is to create a new pedestrian square & shopping area between the Grand & Dukes Theatres and the main brewery building. It would be surrounded by a combination of small and medium sized shops and cafes with an entrance to the new park that would stretch up to the canal.
The square would be approximately half as big again as Dalton Square and would provide a decent sized public space that Lancaster currently lacks. The Square could be used as a venue for specialist outdoor markets, events, rallies & concerts.
