Access
Lancaster city centre pedestrian area is characterised by its alleyways and ginnels that make the centre pedestrian friendly. This should be extending and replicated in any new development on the canal corridor. This could be done by building on the already existing network of pedestrian routes through the area.
For our plan we have mapped the current routes used by people to walk through the site and into town and wherever practical planned to preserve and improve them.
